| I am now a Rescue Ranger |
Today I was a rescue ranger at SeaWorld on the Gold Coast. The price for the two hour tour was $99. We started off by seeing some of the dolphins. One of the bottle nose dolphins's name was Howie. The reason why he was rescued by Sea world was because he got stuck in a fishing hook. The only Australian humpback dolphin they had was called Amity. We also got to see the seals. One of the seals name was William. Not so long ago he was rescued by some of Sea World's staff. Sea World have about 8 seals.
Sea World also have 3 polar bears. The girl is Liya and there are two boys Nelson and Hudson. Hudson was more the playful one and Nelson was more serious than Hudson. Sea World also used,to have a baby cub named Henry. Nelson was the Father of Henry and Liya was the Mother.
Sea world also have a ray reef. That is where all of their sting rays live. We got to feed the sting rays fish (they were very bloody). A sting rays mouth isn't on the side of it's eyes.
All the turtles that we saw were either in turtle hospital or a little hatchling. Today I got to see 5 turtles. One of the turtles only had 3 flippers, 3 other turtles had been washed up onto shore. The last turtle was a little baby hatchling.
That is the story of the day I was a rescue ranger.
