Checked in at Brisbane airport at 10:30am for 2pm flight with Thai Air. Lots of waiting round but much less stressful than our recent flight to Melbourne. Plane departed bang on time. Bangkok bound. 8hrs 40 mins flight. Normally love flying but this time it has given me way to much thinking time. This is when I would normally jump up and busy myself. Unfortunately stuck in an aeroplane doesn't allow for that. Anyway, moving on, everything went according to plan. Shuttle bus (300 baht return) to hotel. 24 baht to the Australian dollar. Thailand 3 hrs behind Aus. Lovely hotel with very welcoming smiley staff. Complimentary Bottled water and pot noodles in our room. After midnight by the time we got to bed.
Next morning breakfast at hotel cafe for 90 baht each. Cooked breakfast, coffee and toast Shuttle back to airport for 12 noon bus down to Chonburi. 2 hr drive.
