Northern Exposure

I didn't realise that flights to London from the southern hemisphere go over Russia/Siberia and then down through Finland & Sweden.

There is a channel on the entertainment unit that shows you a live camera feed of the view below. Lots of snow covered mountains down there!

Have watched a few movies..a Bruce Willis sci fi about robots called surrogates (or surries for short) that are operated by their owners in their own homes using a VR headset that enables them to have daily life experiences without danger to themselves. Love Happens, a Jennifer Aniston love story. Hatchiko: A Dog's Story with Richard Gere based on a true story about a dog whose owner dies and the dog waits outside the train station for him to come home every day for nine years until he too dies - Carole was crying a river. Public Enemy, Johnny Depp plays John Dillinger. An episode of Inside The Actors Studio on Matt Damon who amongst other things reveals that his favourite word is the 'C' word. Mine would be GOAL!

The Richard Gere movie sounds as moving as Greyfriars Bobby story. Happy memories Carole of our visit to Bobby and the pint we had in his pub.
