Sitting here looking out the hotel window you might believe you were on the Gold Coast. Tall apartment blocks everywhere. Stepping out onto the street is where the difference is. Absolute chaos. Pavement in places non existent. Traffic constant. Crossing the road is a risky business. Wouldn't surprise me if there were more farang (foreigners) here than Thai people.
