Travelling 1st class - well sort of

Enjoyed time in Thailand but must say was glad when time came to leave the crowds of people and the constant traffic behind. 12 hrs 10 min flight from Bangkok to London Heathrow was wonderful. Think every single person on the flight had a row of seats to themselves. Having 3 seats to spread out across was such luxury. Arrived London 7:10pm. Few stops on the tube to our hotel and we were in bed at decent hour. Lot easier than arriving in the morning, then trying to last all day.  Full English breakfast next morning and then made 1 hour trek across to East London to do new West Ham Olympic stadium tour. It was a blinking long walk from Stratford station to the ground. Self guided tour with headphone set and small screen. Very impressive, but not sure that a stadium that plays host to athletics, rugby games, music concerts, etc. will ever have that special feeling that the old Boleyn ground did. Man in the stadium store recognised Ben from 2013 when he was kind enough to give Ben a goalkeeper shirt because Ben told him his Mum and Dad wouldn't buy it for him.
